Monday, January 27, 202045: Killing True Energy Independence ( what else is Trump doing to us) Environmental Engineer and activist Sarah Lynn Cunningham (confirmed) will bring us national information on the truth about our climate.

Monday, February 24, 2020–  In this year of Suffrage celebrations, become a sponsor for this fabulous event when we celebrate the contribution of gutsy women just like you at the University Club, 200 East Brandeis, Belknap Campus. Join us in honoring the inaugural Gutsy Woman award winner, Dolores Delahanty. Tickets $100 which includes cocktail hour with silent auction at 5:30 p.m.and dinner at 6:30 p.m.

Monday, March 23, 2020 – Cassie Chambers Armstrong will debut her book “Hill Women”. From Appalachia, educated at Yale, Harvard and the UK, Cassie has given new meaning to the words woman are powerful.

April – Kentucky Derby Festival Parade – The Council will be featured marching in honor of Suffrage and 100 years of voting for women (Details TBA)

Monday, April 27, 2020 – Legislative Round-up– a panel of newly elected legislators will share their thoughts on the 2019 General Assembly.
